HELP US, GOD (It’s a Wonderful Life)

"All we can do is pray," I say before I think.

Because this control freak sometimes forgets where the true power lies. 

God alone can do the impossible, especially when it comes to the human heart.

The Christmas movie classic, "It's a Wonderful Life," tells the story of George Bailey, a good man that hits rock bottom.

When George saw no remedy to his hopeless plight, he decided to throw his life away. But an unexpected gift from friends and family changed his dark perspective just in the nick of time.

The gift George received that night?

Prayers on his behalf.

His friends could have huddled together and drawn up a rescue plan, but it turned out that the only way to revive a soul on earth was for Heaven to come down.

And when God heard these simple prayers, a life was saved, one that changed the course of an entire town and its generations to come.

Think about that. 

One moment of prayer changes history. 

One whispered plea shouts through eternity.

So who will you bless with your prayers today?

When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
