RATTLED Resurrection, Pt 3

When God puts dry bones back together, they rattle.

But don't you get rattled, too.

Noise is to be expected on a construction site.

Saws whir, hammers pound, and nail guns pop before we see the completed structure.

The same holds true when you're witnessing a resurrection.

Bones will cause a ruckus before they begin to rise.

Then, it's going to get a little messy, too.

But don't be so quick to pull out the dustpan. There's beauty in the ashes when God's at work.

Bones, tendons, muscles, and skin will be held together by Him, and not one detail will be missed through Him.

Be patient. Take heart. Don't fear.

It's all part of God's plan.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a new life.

But the city the Lord builds, He inhabits forever.

So please don’t mind the noisy mess.

It’s a sign that something big is about to happen.

*Ezekiel’s Vision, Part 3:

“So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.”

Ezekiel 37:7,8
