LOST AND FOUND

Lately, life has been an endless "Hide and Seek" game.

Find my friends. Find my phone. Find my keys. Find my way.

I am constantly retracing my steps in search of what's been lost.

In fact, some days, I can't even find myself.

But I've learned that the best way to locate something missing is to start by asking questions.

That's what God did when Adam and Eve went rogue.

"Where are you?" God called out, even though He saw through their paper-thin excuses.

He asked the question because they needed to know the answer.

The answer would show them how far away they drifted from God's plan.

The answer would help them realize that the fig-leaf wardrobe they frantically sewed together behind the tree was quickly falling apart.

But most of all, God's question and their answer would lead to the greatest discovery of all.

No matter where we are or what we've done, God's love will always call to us, find us and bring us Home.

"Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as He was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. BUT the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?"
