TESTIMONY OF THE STARS

Let's face it. It's hard to disagree with the obvious.

It's easier to resign ourselves to "what is" than to dream about "what could be."

At least that way, we're never wrong.

Or even worse, disappointed.

And while that view is OK for the world, it's never good enough for God's children.

We are called to be people of faith - not a flimsy hope because things look easy, but a tenacious trust because our God does the impossible.

God dares us to stare into the distance of our soul's longest night.

Then lift our gaze far above the doubts that lurk in its shadows to see "what is" true about the God we serve.

The heavier the night, the greater His glory.

Constellations and circumstances bow before Him. For from Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things.

There is no darkness God's light cannot pierce, no raging fire within us that He cannot name and tame.

"What could be" becomes "what is" in our Father’s hands.

On earth as it is in Heaven.

“Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”

Isaiah 40:26, NIV
