GOOD AS DONE
Let's face it. It's hard not to become weary of doing good.
It's easier to give up, call it quits, and take a pass.
So tempting to roll over into the nearest ditch, let the enemy march past us, and take it all.
Who cares?
Falling short of God's glory is par for every human's course.
But the hope of God's glory lies within every single one of His children, even when they’re barely breathing.
His resurrection power pulses through your veins - even now - to awaken that hope.
And that hope fills you with strength day by day until that glorious moment when you rise to meet the Lord in the sky, far above what you feel and see, to what you know is true.
“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:30-31, NIV
God is with you, and calls you to stand firm.
God goes before you, and calls you to carry on.
God surrounds you. So when you think you can't possibly take another step,
you can.
Because God created you in Christ Jesus to do THIS VERY THING.
This good you think you can’t keep doing?
You can. In fact, it’s as good as done.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10, NIV
All glory to God!
