INDESTRUCTIBLE

The world takes dead aim at our souls, but we were born to survive.

Our God is our shield, declaring “No weapon formed will succeed.”

But still, we are wounded.

We reel from the blows, stumble and fall.

Yet we rise,

Again and again and again.

Because God’s purpose for us stands, so do we.

The destroyer thinks he welds a sword, but he only holds a chisel.

We emerge from each battle looking more and more like Christ.

“We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

2 Corinthians 4:8-9
